HIGH COURT OF ANDHRA PRADESH
D.V.S.S. SOMAYAJULU, V. SRINIVAS, JJ
Gurram Vinay – Appellant
Versus
Banala Charan – Respondent
COMMON JUDGMENT:
(per D.V.S.S.Somayajulu, J)
Sri Javvaji Sarath Chandra, learned counsel for the respondents – Writ Petitioners states that in all these matters affidavits have been filed by the writ petitioners stating that they are no longer interested in pursuing the cause. Accordingly, they have filed memos with USR Nos.42492; 42493; 42496; 42497; 42498; 42500; 42502; 42503; 42504; 42505; 42506 and 42507 of 2023, dated 21.04.2023. This step is being taken because according to the writ petitioners the APPSC has issued a web notification, dated 03.04.2023, permitting the candidates to appear in bilingual language mode i.e., both in English and Telugu. Therefore, the Writ Petitioners do not want to pursue their case any further.
2) In view of this, these Writ Appeals are allowed setting aside the impugned order, dated 16.08.2022, passed in the Writ Petition Nos.12019; 13966; 13971 and 13982 of 2022. Since the Writ Petitioners do not want to pursue their case, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.
2023:APHC:13243
3) Consequently, the miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
