The present writ petition is filed declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in issuing impugned proceedings dated 07.10.2023 cancelling the authorization of petitioner as fair price shop dealer in respect of shop No.0505024 of Nandigudem Village, Gopalapuram Mandal, East Godavari District as illegal, arbitrary and without following principles of natural justice.

The case of the petitioner in brief is that the petitioner herein is appointed as a fair price shop dealer on permanent basis in respect of the shop No.0505024 of Nandigudem Village, Gopalapuram Mandal, East Godavari District. Later in the year 2002, an inspection was conducted and subject stock was seized and confiscated and the petitioner was kept under suspension vide order dated 26.08.2002. Later, the petitioner preferred an Appeal before the Joint Collector against the suspension order dated 26.08.2002. The 2nd respondent was pleased to revoke the suspension order and to reinstate the petitioner vide order dated 05.10.2002.

3. While things stood thus, the 3rd respondent initiated proceedings dated 25.07.2023 alleging that the petitioner was indulging in clandestine business and diverted the stocks for his pecun
