ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Social Welfare and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance appearing for the respondents. With their consent, the writ petition is being disposed of at the admission stage.
The case of the petitioner is that he is running canteen in Acharya Nagarjuna University Campus since two years with the required permissions. On the request of the 3rd respondent, Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department, the petitioner supplied Menu for the Welfare & Education Assistants’ Training Programme held at Acharya Nagarjuna University Campus for four weeks during the period from 10.02.2020 to 15.03.2020. The amount of Rs.4,75,200/- quoted by the petitioner was accepted by the 3rd respondent. But having received the supply of menu, thereafter, the respondents have not paid the bill of Rs.4,75,200/-. The petitioner also made a representation dated 03.06.2021 to the 3rd respondent for disbursement of the bill, for which the 3rd respondent replied that after release of funds from the 2nd respondent, Director of Social Welfare Department, the pending amount would be cleared.
