ORDER

The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed seeking the following relief:

    “…to issue an order writ or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the 2nd respondent in not considering the application of the petitioner dated 10.06.2024 for grant of interim custody of the vehicle in his favour bearing Registration No.AP 39 UV 0557 Tata Intra which was allegedly involved in Crime No.37/2024, dt. 05.05.2024 on the file of the 3rd respondent as illegal arbitrary and in violation of Art 19(1)(g) and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to grant interim custody of the petitioner’s vehicle bearing Registration No. AP 39 UV 0557 Tata SRS, J W.P.No.12659/2024 Intra by accepting third party collateral security for the value of the vehicle pending confiscation proceedings in the interest of justice and to pass such other order or orders ...”
