COMMON ORDER:

Since the parties to the writ petitions and the issue to be resolved in the writ petitions are one and the same, they are heard together and are being disposed of by this common order.

a) Pursuant to the instructions of the Commissioner, the Assistant Commissioner, Endowments Department, Kurnool, and the Executive Officer of the Temple submitted a report that the construction of Annadanasatram building was completed and it is being managed by private persons and the Annadanasatram forms part of the temple property and the building was constructed with the funds of the temple only. Then the Commissioner, Endowments Department, issued proceedings dated 24.12.2016 directing the Executive Officer of the Temple to take over the subject Annadanasatram and Kalyana Mandapam from the petitioner Society duly recording the handing over and taking over the subject property. Challenging the same, the petitioner Society filed W.P.No.644 of 2017.

b) Having come to know about the consequential action of the respondents pursuant to the proceedings dated 24.12.2016, the petitioner Society preferred an appeal to the then Minister of Endowments seeking stay of operation of the said order. T
