This Criminal Petition under Sactions 480 and 483 of B.N.S.SJ., has been filed by the petitioner/A8, seeking regular bail, in crime No.202 of 2024 of Sabbavaram Police Station, AnakapaIIi District, registered for the offences punishable under sections 8(c), 25 I/w See.20(b)(ii)(C) of the NDPS Act.

2. Case of the prosecution, in brief is that on 25.8.2024 at about 3.00 pm, on receipt of credible information about illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the Sl of police, secured the presence of his staff and mediators and rushed to sabbavaram-Kothavalasa R & B tar road, Gullepalli junction, Sabbavaram Mandal and found Al and A2 in suspicious clrCumStanCeS. On observing police, they tried to escape. Then POIice apprehended them and on questioning, they disclosed their identity particulars as that of Al and A2 and on search POliCe found 912 kgs of ganja in their possession.
