The present writ petition assails order dated 24.06.2025, passed by 4th respondent, removing the petitioner from service as Field Assistant, to be illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the guidelines.
2. Heard Sri J.U.M.V.Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I for respondent Nos.1 to 3, Sri M.S.R.Chandra Murthy, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.4 and Smt B.V.Aparna Lakshmi, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.5.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner tried to address the Court on merits of the matter, then learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.4 point out that there is an alternative remedy of filing of appeal before the 3rd respondent under 13(C) of the Field Assistant Human Resource Policy, 2013 . Therefore, learned counsel for the petitioner sought liberty to prefer appeal.
4. In view of the same, petitioner is granted liberty to prefer appeal before the 3rd respondent. On filing of the same, the 3rd respondent shall, after providing due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, dispose of the appeal in accordance with law, within a period of four (04) weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.
