This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of BNSS , has been filed by the petitioner_ herein/accused No.1, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.77 of 2025 of Dargamitta Police Station, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore District, registered for the offences punishable under sections 75(1) BNS,ll read with 12 of the POCSO Act 2O12.
2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 04.o4.2025 at about 10.20 a.m. while the victim girl was going to her EAMCFT coaching class at Aakash Institute, NeIIore situated on 2nd floor of the build'lng and when she was passing through the sta'lrs, the accused, who is working at TATA AIG Insurance, situated in the 5th floor of the >

same building, introduced himself and enquired about the details of the victim girl and suddenly the accused started misbehaving With the iii=
victim girl by touching her waist, breast and also made an attempt to kill her forcibly. Bas,'ng on the report of the v,-ctim girl, the present crime was registered.
3. Heard. perusedtherecord.
4. Learned counsel for the petl-tioner submits that the offences alleged against the petitioner are pun,-shable with imprI'SOnment of less than three years, and considerllng the length ofjudicjal remand of the petitioner, he prays to consider the request of the petitioner for regular bail. The petitI'Oner has been languishing in ja" for more than 70 days. It is submitted by the learned Assistant public prosecutor that major investigation is completed in the present crlme. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, thls court is I-nCIl'ned to grant bail to the petI-tjOner herein/A1.
