THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA GUNARANJAN CIVIL MISCELLANEOUS APPEAL NO: 760/2017 The Court made the following Judgment:
Ms.M Hemalatha, learned counsel for appellant has filed memo dated 28.07.2025, stating that she had already given up vakalat and no objection certificate has been issued to the appellant in the month of April, 2023. Despite the same, the appellant has so far not made any alternative arrangements to pursue the appeal.
Therefore, seeks to delete her name from the cause list.
2. The appeal was listed on 31.03.2023, 21.04.2023 and thereafter on 21.07.2025, 28.07.2025. In the first two hearings, there was no representation for the appellant and in later two hearings, learned counsel for appellant had informed to Court that already she had given up vakalat.
3. Even today, none appears for appellant. It appears that appellant is not interested in pursuing the matter.
4. In view of the same, the Appeal stands dismissed for non prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
