Order:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., has been filed on behalf of the petitioner/A-1, to quash the proceedings in CC No.80 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Anaparthi.

2. A charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner herein and others for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 465, 467, 468, 420 and 506 read with 34 IPC.

3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, the defacto complainant is native of Pedaparthi Village, Anaparthi Mandal. At present, he is residing at Karnataka State along with his wife i.e. LW2. He is doing brick business. They were blessed with two female children and both were married. A1 induced the daughter of defacto complainant by name Lakshmi under the guise of love and got performed registered marriage secretly on 15.12.2014 at Registrar Office, Visakhapatnam, without their knowledge and later caused harassment towards their daughter Lakshmi for additional dowry and caused her death.
