ORDER
The writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“...to issue an appropriate order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondent No.3 in seizing the Lorry bearing No.AP37 TD 8823 of the petitioner, in connection with FIR No.166 of 2023 without following the procedure known to law under APMMC Rules, 1966, as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the procedure established by law and against the principles of natural justice and violative of fundamental rights guaranteed under Articles 14, 21 and 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to release the subject vehicles of the petitioner forthwith in the interest of justice and pass such other order or orders...”
2. The case of the petitioner, in brief, is that the petitioner is the owner of Lorry bearing No.AP37 TD 8823 and has been utilizing the vehicle for commercial purpose on hire.
