The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for the following relief/s:
“…pleased to issue an appropriate order, writ, or direction, specifically in the nature of a writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in categorizing the petitioner as a Non-Local Candidate in the Andhra Pradesh Research Common Entrance Test (APRCET) 2023-24 despite the petitioner has been the resident of Visakhapatnam (Andhra University Region) for the maximum period out of seven years as per G.O.Ms.No.3, dated 09.01.2024 and the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) order, 1974-Consolidated and Comprehensive Instructions issued in G.O. P. No. 646, date 10th July, 1979 as illegal, arbitrary, ultra vires, and contrary to the G.O.Ms.No.3, dated 09.01.2024 and the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order, 1974-Consolidated and Comprehensive Instructions issued in G.O. P No.646, dated 10th July, 1979 besides being in violation of the Fundamental Rights of the petitioner guaranteed under Articles 14, 19, 21 and 21A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to grant the stat
