ORDER:

The petitioners, who are said to be the owners of

2878.12 Sq. yards in Sy.No.2/A2, Sy.No.2/A3 & Sy.No.1/2, in Kaikalcheruvu, Tirupathi Urban Mandal, Chittoor District have approached this Court, by way of the present Writ Petition, with a complaint that the officials of the 2nd respondent-Corporation are seeking to lay a road through their land and are offering TDR bonds in lieu of compensation for the land taken over from them and the same is not acceptable to the petitioners. The petitioners contend that the 2nd respondent is insisting that the petitioners should accept the TDR bonds as compensation even after the petitioners had categorically rejected this offer and that the 2nd respondent is taking steps to forcibly lay the road without following due procedure under the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation And Resettlement Act, 2013 [for the short “The Right to Fair Compensation Act, 2013”].

2. Sri. B. Venkatesh Reddy, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the Right to Property is protected under Article 300-A of the Constitution of India and any take over of the property of the petitione
