ORDER:
The challenge in this writ petition is to the proceedings in R.C.No.4967/2009/S3, dated 11.07.2013, issued by the Divisional Forest Officer, Vizianagaram – 3rd respondent. In the impugned proceedings it was observed that the petitioner established the wood based industry in violation of Hon’ble Supreme Court order. Hence, the wood based industry operated by the petitioner shall be stopped immediately, otherwise, the further action will be taken.
2. The petitioner’s case is that the petitioner is carrying out the activities of processing and making of block boards and plywood by using the raw materials such as face veneers, core veneers and resin. In the petitioner’s industry the process of work involved the job of trimming of veneers and pasting by resin and arranging the same into required thickness and such process of making products involves only veneers acquired by them from the licensed dealers both within and outside the state. No plywood is being manufactured in the petitioner industry and therefore, there is no violation of Hon’ble Apex Court’s order.
