Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in issuing impugned proceedings No. Rc No. A1/06/2014 ADM.dt 24.01.2014 where under the 6th respondent is proposed to be appointed as Single Trustee to the petitioner temple which is illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of Section 15 (2) of the Endowments Act and Section 242 (A) & (C) of AP Grampanchayat Act and consequently by setting aside the impugned proceedings of the 3rd respondent dt. 24.01.2014 direct the respondents not to interfere with the petitioner temple daily functions in any manner, IA NO: 1 OF 2014(WVMP 909 OF 2014 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased vacate the interim order dt: 11/03/2014 made in WPMP No. 7552/2014 in WP No. 6072/2014 IA NO: 2 OF 2014(WPMP 7552 OF 2014 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to suspend the operation of the impugned proceedings of the 3rd respondent vide Rc. No. A1/06/2014 ADM. dt.24.01.2014, pending disposal of the main writ petition.

THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE VENKATESWARLU NIMMAGADDA WRIT PETITION NO: 6072/2014

ORDER:

None appeared for the petitioner. Heard the learned counsel for the respondents.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the respondent No.3 issued impugned proceedings appointing respondent No.6 as single trustee. On perusal of the impugned proceedings, it is observed that the single trustee was appointed for a period of two(2) years in the year 2014. Therefore, the term of the office of the single trustee was completed by the year 2016 itself. As such, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive for further adjudication and the matter becomes infructuous.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
