Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue any writ, order or direction, preferably a writ in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not paying the enhanced compensation together with interest as per the orders dated 27.08.2020 and 31.10.2020 passed by the 2nd respondent as illegal, arbitrary and violative of articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith pay the enhanced compensation together with interest as per the orders dated 27.08.2020 and 31.10.2020 passed by the 2nd respondent.

ORDER:
The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:
"……to issue any writ, order or direction, preferably a writ in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents in not paying the enhanced compensation together with interest as per the orders dated 27.08.2020 and 31.10.2020 passed by the 2nd respondent as illegal, arbitrary and violative of articles 14, 21 and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to forthwith pay the enhanced compensation together with interest as per the orders dated 27.08.2020 and 31.10.2020 passed by the 2nd respondent and pass such other orders……"
2. The petitioners herein filed an application under Section 3G(5) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (for short, hereinafter called as ‘the NH Act’). It is the contention of the petitioners 1 and 2 that they are the absolute owners of plot Nos.2 and 4 in Sy.No.637/3B of an extent of 209.950 square metres and 5.180 square metres respectively, situated in Gaogavaram Revenue Village and Mandal, Chittoor District and they have purchased the said plots from one M.Asgar Ali under a registered sale deed dated 09.03.2011 and the vendor of the land has converted the agricultural land into non-agricultural purpose of paying requisite charges under Section 3(6) of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Land (Conversion for Non-Agricultural Purposes) Act, 2006, and the CALA has awarded Rs.5,307/- to the 2nd petitioner’s land and Rs.2,15,086/- to the 1st petitioner’s land
