Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying

that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the

High Court may be pleased toto issue a writ or order or direction

more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring

the action of the Respondents in not holding elections to the

office of the members of the Committee of the Petitioner Society

in terms of section 31(2)(b) of the Andhra Pradesh Co-Operative

Societies Act, 1964, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14

of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside the

proceedings Rc.No.2257/2012-E, dated 27-05-2013 of the 3rd

Respondent and direct the Respondents to conduct the elections

to the Petitioner Society before the completion of the term (24-06-

2013)

circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the

petition, the High Court may be pleased to suspend the

O R D E R:

The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of

the Respondents in not conducting elections to the office of

members of the Committee of the Petitioner/Society in terms of

Section 31(2)(b) of Andhra Pradesh Cooperative Societies Act,

1964, as illegal and arbitrary.

2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader submitted that the

elections were conducted.

3. Noting the said submission, as no cause survives for

adjudication any further, the Writ Petition is closed. No order as to

costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in

this Petition shall stand closed.
