Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, by declaring Proceedings vide C.No.318/MC- 112018, dated 14-07-2019 issued by the 2nd Respondent cancelling the Arms Licence AL No.9/2009/VSP held by the petitioner with permission to dispose the weapon i.e., one NP .32NP Bore Pistol covered by the licence to any authorized arms dealer and to submit the sale receipt within 3 months from the date of issue of the order, as being illegal, arbitrary, unreasonable and offends the Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and therefore, set aside the same, further consequently, direct the Respondents to reconsider the renewal of Arm Licence bearing AL No.9/2009IVSP held by the petitioner forthwith based on representation dated 15-11-2018 or any other material as required IA NO: 1 OF 2019 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pleased to suspend the Proceedings vide C.No.318/MC¬1/2018, dated 14-07-2019 issued by the 2' Respondent in cancelling the Arms Licence AL No.9/2009NSP held by the petitioner forthwith Counsel for the Petitioner:

2. Sri R. Mallikarjuna Rao, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home representing the respondents, is in attendance.

3. Permission is accordingly granted.

4. The Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, interlocutory applications, if any, pending shall stand closed.
