Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased topleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the 3rd and 4th respondents in receiving the settlement deed documents for registration, presented by the petitioners dated 29.07.2025 neither registering nor rejecting with reasons, with respect of properties to an extent of 62.44 Sq. yards and 67.88 Sq. yards, situated in S. No. 107/7 and 107/7A, Nagari Municipality, Chittoor District as arbitrary, illegal, against the principles of natural justice and contrary to Section 70(c) of the Registration Act, 1908 and Violation of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently, to direct the 4th respondent, to receive the documents dated 29.07.2025, presented by the petitioners for registration and subsequently, release the same, as per law and pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S): 1. This Writ Petition, under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is filed seeking the following relief:

“…..to issue a Writ, Order or Direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the inaction of the 3rd and 4th respondents in receiving the settlement deed documents for registration, presented by the petitioners dated 29.07.2025 neither registering nor rejecting with reasons, with respect of properties to an extent of 62.44 Sq. yards and 67.88 Sq. yards, situated in S. No. 107/7 and 107/7A, Nagari Municipality, Chittoor District as arbitrary, illegal, against the principles of natural justice and contrary to Section 70(c) of the Registration Act, 1908 and Violation of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently, to direct the 4th respondent, to receive the documents dated 29.07.2025, presented by the petitioners for registration and subsequently, release the same, as per law….”

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents.

The present Writ Petition is filed, aggrieved by the action of respondent No. 3 and 4 in refusing to receive the document presented by the petitioners for the registration of their land situated in Nagari Municipality, Chittoor District which action is illegal, arbitrary, and in contravention of the provisions of the Registration Act, 1908.

4. During hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the subject matter of the Writ Petition is squarely covered by the order of this Court dated 06.03.2014 in W.P. No. 1339 of 2014 and Batch.

5. Learned Government Pleader did not oppose the said submission.
