Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue an order, direction or Writ more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ (i) declaring the Notice of Inspection Report No. 34 (05) 2014- LEONSP, dated 27-10-2014 of the 31'1 Respondent in so far as non-implementation of Prohibition of Contract Labour vide Gazette Notification No. U-23013/1/2000-LW, dated 25-1-2002 prohibiting the employment of Contract Labour in the Electrical Maintenance and Maintenance works in the establishment of Petitioner Petroleum Corporation at Visakha Terminal, Visakhapatnam as irrational and arbitrary; (ii) declare the Gazette Notification No. U-23013/1/2000-LW, dated 25-1-2002 is in contravention of Section 10 of the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, in violation of principles of natural justice and contrary to the law declared by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in SAIL case {(2001) 2 SCC 11 and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.

IA NO: 1 OF 2015(WPMP 15388 OF 2015 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to dispense with filing of the Gazette Notification No. U23013/1/2000-LW, dated

25-12002 and pass IA NO: 2 OF 2015(WPMP 16024 OF 2015 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to restrain the respondents from taking any action in so far as the non- implementation of Gazette Notification No. U-23013/1/2000-LW, dt.25-1-2002 regarding proh. of contract Labourt (Regulation & Abolition) Act, regerred to in the Inspection Report No.34 (05) 2014-LEO ?VSP, dt.27-10-2014 of the 3rd Respondent and pass.

Though the matter was adjourned on 09.09.2025, there was no representation on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Hence, the matter was directed to be listed on 25.11.2025. Even on that day, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the matter was directed to be listed today under the caption “for dismissal”.

Today when the matter is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. It appears that the learned counsel for the petitioner is not ready to prosecute the case.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed as non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
