Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in threatening to interfere with the private property of the petitioner as illegal and arbitrary, consequently direct the Respondents not to interfere with the property of the petitioner. The Court made the following order:

Heard Sri G. Rama Gopal, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.

2. The Petitioner contends that he is the absolute owner and possessor of the property admeasuring Ac.8.00 cents in Sy.No.249 and Ac.1.10 cents in Sy.No.262, situated at Palacherla Village, Rajanagaram Mandal, East Godavari District. The petitioner was also issued Pattadar Pass Book and Title Deed under the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971.

3. The petitioner submitted an application to the 2^nd respondent for conversion of the agricultural land into non-agricultural land. The 2^nd respondent issued proceedings dated 02.09.2008 for conversion of the agricultural land into non-agricultural land. Subsequently, the revenue officials have tried to dispossess the petitioner from the subject property.

4. It is contended that despite the land being private patta land, the respondents are unauthorisedly interfering with the property and attempting to dispossess the petitioner from the subject property for the purpose of assigning the same in favour of the beneficiaries under the “Navaratnalu - Pedalandariki Illu” scheme, a scheme introduced by the Government of Andhra Pradesh at the relevant point of time. Aggrieved by the said action, the present writ petition was filed.

5. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue has placed before the Court a copy of the written instructions received from the 1^st respondent dated 11.02.2026. A perusal of the same would reflect that as per A register Sy.No.249 and 262 was classified as Zeroity land and the subject land was converted into non agricultural purpose and now it is a private layout.

6. It is further stated that no land in Sy.Nos.249 and 262 was acquired for the purpose of issuance of house site pattas under the Navaratnalu -

Pedalandariki Illu Scheme.

7. The written instructions of the 1^st respondent dated 11.02.2026 are placed on record.

8. In view of the foregoing, as no further orders are required to be passed the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as t
