THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY Contempt Case No.2921 of 2025

O R DE R:

The present Contempt Case is filed for willful disobedience on the part of the Respondents in implementing the Interim Order in W.P.No.20457 of 2025, dated 05.08.2025.

2. It is stated by the learned counsel for the Respondents that permission to engage the Petitioners was issued, and consequently, Petitioner Nos. 2 to 17 were engaged as casual laborers in different branches as mentioned in the Tabular Form of the Counter Affidavit filed by the Respondent Authorities. As regards Petitioner No. 1, it is stated that as he did not report duty, the respondent bank could not issue appointment orders, and when Petitioner No. 1 reports duty, the respondent bank will engage him in an appropriate place.

3. In view of the above, no contempt case is made out against the Respondents.

4. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this case shall stand closed.
