Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus to declaring the action of the respondents in not regularizing the Service rendered by the petitioners from 31.08.1989 to 05.12.1996 as contract labour to pay the pension as against the principles of natural justice, illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents to regularize the service rendered as a contract labour for the purpose of calculating the service for the payment of pension IA NO: 1 OF 2012(WPMP 49302 OF 2012 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents to take necessary steps on the representation dated

The petitioners have filed the present writ petition seeking to consider their service from 31.08.1989 to 05.12.1996 as contract labour to pay the pension by considering the same as service rendered to the respondent organization.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners were absorbed as Sub-Engineers on 06.12.1996 and, prior to their absorption, they were engaged as NMR workers.
