Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, order or direction especially one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in treating each centre as Unit for appointment as Anganwadi Worker is illegal and arbitrary and further declare that action of the Respondents in seeking to appoint the persons from the places where centre is located is illegal, arbitrary and discriminatory violating of articles 14,15 and 16 of the Constitution of India and further declare that the petitioners are entitled to be appointed as Anganwadi workers in the available vacancies and pass.

IA NO: 1 OF 2013(WPMP 15871 OF 2013 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the Respondents to consider the case of the Petitioners for appointment as Anganwadi workers in the existing/available vacancies, pending disposal of the W.P. and pass.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive any further. Hence, the matter has become infructuous.
