Petition under Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971 praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit file herein the High Court may be pleased to punish the respondents /contemnors herein as per the provisions of the contempt of court Act for willful, deliberate and intentional disobedience and violation of the orders dated 16/11/2018 passed by this Hon'ble court in CRP No. 6755 of 2018 by HIS LORDSHIP HON'BLE SRI

2026:APHC:33987 The court made the following ORDER

The contempt case has been filed alleging wilful and deliberate

disobedience of the orders dated 16.11.2018, passed in C.R.P. No. 6755 of

2018.

2. At the time of considering the matter, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after filing the instant contempt case, the main civil revision petition, along with other similarly placed revision petitions, were allowed by this Court vide orders dated 23.08.2025 and challenging the said batch of cases, the A.P. Waqf Board carried the matter to the Apex Court, which confirmed the orders dated of 23.08.2025, passed by this Court. Therefore, he submits that the duty rests upon the respondent authorities to comply with

the orders under challenge in the present contempt case.

3. On the other hand, Sri T.S. Rayulu, learned counsel and Sri M.K. Rajkumar, learned counsel appearing for the respondents, jointly submit that evidently, the present contempt case is filed against the interim orders. They also submit that after the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, the respondent authorities are taking appropriate steps and in view of the administrative exigency only, the respondents have not implemented the

interim orders in its true letter and spirit.

4. They further brought to the notice of this Court that the very same petitioners have filed another batch of contempt cases i.e., C.C.No.3642 of 2025 & batch, seeking implementation of the final orders dated 23.08.2024,

2026:APHC:33987 passed by this Court in C.R.P.No.7336 of 2018 & batch, which are going to be listed on 02.04.2026 before the concerned Bench. The learned respondents’ counsel assured that the respondents are making all efforts to implement the

final orders dated 23.08.2024 passed in C.R.P.No.7336 of 2018 & batch.

5. In response, learned counsel for the petitioner has not disputed the filing of the second batch of contempt cases i.e., C.C.No.3642 of 2025 & batch

and the date of listing before this Court.

6. Taking into consideration the above submissions made and in view of the above facts and circumstances, the present contempt case is closed by leaving it open to the petitioner to workout his legal remedies in the subsequent batch of contempt cases i.e., C.C.No.3642 of 2025 & batch

pending before this Court.

7. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed. No costs. As a sequel, all

pending applications shall stand closed.
