ORDER:-

It is informed that the learned counsel for the petitioner is no more.

2. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the cause in the writ petition does not survive, as the petitioner has challenged the appointment of the 5th respondent as Anganwadi worker instead of preferring the petitioner.

3. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Government Pleader that the petitioner claims to have secured more marks in SSC as compared to the 5th respondent and that she is entitled for appointment. It is further submitted that the selection committee has conducted transparent selection and the 5th respondent secured highest marks on merit. It is also submitted that securing more marks in SSC could not grant any additional marks. The 5th respondent secured 43 marks after the selection process was completed and the petitioner secured 31 marks. As such, the selection process cannot be challenged. Considering the submissions and after going through the record, no further orders are required to be passed.

4. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed. There shall be no orders as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
