Heard Sri O. Udaya Kumar, learned Counsel appearing for the Writ Petitioner and Sri P. Vengal Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporation.
2. Sri P. Vengal Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for Municipal Corporation has submitted the Written Instructions furnished by the Town Planning Officer (i/c), Municipal Corporation, Ananthapuramu along with the Office Note. Copies of it are supplied to the Counsel for the Writ Petitioner and the same are taken on record.
3. The relevant portion of the Written Instructions is usefully extracted hereunder:
“Further it is submitted that, on receiving of directions from the Hon'ble High Court, this issue was settled amicably as this corporation had paid an amount of Rs. 57,00,000/- to the petitioner through DD No: 375448 Dated: 14-03-2018 of State Bank of India, Ananthapuramu Branch and got registered the affected road portion of the petitioners land vide Regd. Deed No: 6132/2018 Dated: 11-05-2018.”
4. The above extract would indicates that an amount of Rs.57,00,000/-
was paid to the Petitioner.
5. Sri O. Udaya Kumar, learned Counsel appearing for the Writ Petitioner, on instructions, confirms this position.
6. Having so recorded, this Writ Petition is disposed of, as no further consideration is necessary. No order as to costs.
7. Interlocutory Applications, if any, stand closed in terms of this order.
