The petitioner is challenging the notification dated 02.07.2013, call for

filling up the posts of Extension Officers and the respondents had restricted and fixed the maximum age limit of 45 years to Anganwadi workers, while allowing the contract supervisors irrespective of the maximum age and giving them 15% of weightage marks as bad in law. The petitioner was aged 49 years and was working as an Anganwadi worker, when the writ petition was filed. The petitioner has attained the age of superannuation during pendency of the writ petition. As such, no further orders are required to be passed.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to

costs.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
