...RESPONDENT Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased topleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the Respondent University in orally demanding that the petitioner institutions to pay amounts in the form of University Service Fee from students over and above the fee fixed by the Govt. of A.P through the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) as illegal, arbitrary and violative of provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Prohibition of Capitation Fee) Act, 1983 and without authority and consequently direct the Respondent university not to insist for any service fee or any other fees that without there being any approval and orders from Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) and without following any due process of law and consequently direct the respondent to issue affiliations every year without insisting University service fees and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2020 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pleased to direct the respondent to issue affiliation for the academic year 2019-20 to the petitioner institutions without insisting the petitioners to pay the University Services Fee, pending disposal of the writ petition, and pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S):

The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of Respondent/University in orally demanding Petitioner/Institution to pay amounts in the form of University Service Fee from students over and above the fee fixed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh through admission process, as illegal and arbitrary.

2. It is represented by the learned counsel for the Petitioners that no cause of action survives in the Writ Petition in view of the passage of time.

3. Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
