ORDER:

1. These Criminal Petitions are filed under Sections 480 and 483 of the BNSS by the petitioner/accused seeking regular bail in connection with the Cr.No.11 of 2026 of Nandalur Police Station, Kadapa District (Crl.P.No.3334 of 2026); Cr.No.133 of 2025 of Nandalur Police Station, Annamayya District (Crl.P.No.3333 of 2026); Cr.No.17 of 2026 of Mannur Police Station, Annamayya District (Crl.P.No.3328 of 2026); Cr.No.246 of 2025 of Mannur Police Station, Annamayya District (Crl.P.No.3333 of 2026).

2. Heard Sri D. Purna Chandra Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner/accused, and Mrs. K. Priyanka Lakshmi, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the State.

3. Since the accused in all these Criminal Petitions is one and the same, and at the request of the learned counsel on both sides, these matters are heard together and are being disposed of by way of this common order.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a practicing advocate who has been defending accused in these cases. It is contended that he has been falsely implicated in the present cases, which involve offences punishable under Sections 303(2), 49, 61(2) read with 3(5) of the BNS, and Section 20(1)(d)(i)(a) read with 20(1)(c) and Schedules II, III, IV, X, and Section 36(A) read with 32(A) of the A.P. Forest Amendment Act, 2016. It is further submitted that, except for the alleged confession statement of a co-accused, there is no material against the petitioner. The petitioner surrendered before the concerned Court and has been in judicial custody since 24.03.2026.

5. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor opposed the petitions, contending that there are specific allegations against the petitioner based on the confession of co-accused and that the investigation is still pending.

Considering the submissions made and upon perusal of the material available on record, this Court is of the view that since the petitioner voluntarily surrendered before the Court and has been in judicial custody since 24.03.2026, and as a substantial part of the investigation appears to have been completed, the petitioner is entitled to be released on bail, subject to the following conditions:

i. The petitioner shall execute a personal bond for a sum of Rs.20,000/- in each criminal petition (Rupees Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum each, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class for Trial of Cases relating to Red Sanders Smuggling, Tirupati.
