ORDER:

1. The present application is filed under Sections 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita seeking to enlarge the Petitioner/Accused No.6 on bail in the event of her arrest in connection with Cr.No.133 of 2024 of Narsaraopet II Town Police Station, Palnadu District. The Crime was registered for the offences under Sections 98 and 99 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (BNS).

2. Heard Sri P.Durga Prasad, learned counsel for the Petitioners and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for the Respondent-State.

3. Perused the record.

4. The Petitioner herein is A.6 in the above crime.

5. This petition is filed seeking anticipatory bail before this Court by the Petitioner/A.6 without approaching the District Court. On posing a query to the counsel as to why Petitioner do not approach the District Court for seeking anticipatory bail, the counsel for the Petitioner submits that as there was imminent threat of arrest they have filed the present petition before this Court seeking anticipatory bail.

6. This Court is not satisfied with the submission made by the counsel for the Petitioner. The Petitioner/A.6 shall approach the concerned District Court for grant of anticipatory bail. However, to protect her interest, the Petitioner/A.6 shall not be arrested in connection with the above crime for a period of ten (10) days from today.

7. Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, pending applications, if any, shall stand closed.
