ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioners/A2, A3 and A5, seeking bail, in Crime No.785/2024 of Proddatur Rural Police Station, Kadapa District.

2. A case has been registered against the petitioners and others initially for the offence under Sections 118(1) read with 3(5) of B.N.S and later police added Section 109 of B.N.S.

3. The case of the prosecution is that:

On 11.12.2024, at about 6.00pm, A1 along with other accused attacked the defacto complainant. A1 dealt a blow with iron rod and caused bleeding injury on the head of the defacto complainant. A2 to A5 pelted stones on the defacto complainant and caused dumb injuries all over his body. Wife of the defacto complainant witnessed the same and went to rescue, then the A6 caught the tuft and dragged and beat with hands and on witnessing the same, one Venkataramana tried to rescue the defacto complainant and his wife and all the accused were beat him also with stones caused dumb injuries on his right flank and later the complainant went to Government hospital, Proddatur for treatment. Later on 14.12.2024, the petitioners were arrested
