Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The grievance in the writ petition is that the respondents are not extending the age of superannuation from 58 to 65 years as mandated by the University Grants Commission Regulations dated 30.06.2010. The petitioner was working as a teaching faculty in various colleges in the State.

3. The petitioner is being paid the University Grants Commission Scales. He claims that the age of superannuation should also be extended in accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission and regulations of the University Grants Commission dated 30.06.2010.
