COMMON ORDER:

MACMA.MP.No.1161 of 2016 (I.A.No.2 of 2016) is filed seeking to condone the delay of 4401 days in filing the appeal against the Award, dated 27.10.2023 passed by the learned Chairman, Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal-cum-II Additional District Judge, Visakhapatnam, in M.V.O.P.No.303 of 2001.

2. A perusal of the record, it is evident that the accident occurred on 20.11.2000 and the tribunal rendered its judgment on 27.10.2003. Thereafter, with a delay of 4401 days, the claimants in the M.V.O.P.No.303 of 2001 filed the present appeal.

3. On perusal of the affidavit filed in support of the delay condonation application, this Court finds no sufficient reasons to explain the enormous delay in preferring the appeal.

4. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to condone the huge delay of 4401 days in filing the appeal.

5. Accordingly, MACMA.MP.No.1161 of 2016 (I.A.No.2 of 2016) is dismissed. Consequently, MACMA(SR) No.7803 of 2016 stands rejected.

Miscellaneous applications pending if any, shall stand closed.
