ORDER:-

The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:

“…..to issue a Writ or Order or direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 4th respondent in proposing to conduct public auction on 17.09.2016 in respect of the land admeasuring Ac.0-99 ¼ cents, Ac.0-98 ½ cents and Ac.1-00 cents totally admeasuring Ac.2-97 ¾ cents out of total extent of Ac.4-02 cents in RS No.250 situated at Velugubanda Village, Rajanagaram Mandal, East Godavari District as illegal, contrary to law, subjudice and malafide colourable exercise of power vested in them as well as violation of principles of natural justice and violative of Article 300-A of Constitution of India and for a consequential order to drop all further proceedings by setting aside the impugned notification dated 06.09.2016 issued by the 4th respondent and to pass …..”

2. Heard Mr. Venkat Challa, learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Pleader for Endowments appearing for the respondents.

3. As seen from the proceeding sheet, on 16.09.2016, this Court has granted any interim order directing the respondent Nos.3 and 4 not to confirm the auction to be conducted on 17.09.2016 upto 14.10.2016.

4. On hearing, learned Government Pleader for Endowments submits that as per the notification dated 06.09.2016, the lease period was upto 2019 only and hence the lease period was already lapsed by 2019 itself. As the lease period was lapsed by 2019 itself, no cause survives in the present Writ Petition for further adjudication and it may be closed.

5. Recording the above submissions, this Writ Petition is closed.

There shall be no order as to costs.

6. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
