This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A2, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.140 of 2024 of Narsipatnam Rural Police Station, Anakapalli district.

2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offences punishable under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B), 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘the NDPS Act’).

3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 21.12.2024, at about 13.00 hours, on receipt of credible information, the Sub- Inspector of Police, Narsipatnam Rural Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, while conducting vehicle checking at Gurandarapalem junction, Narsipatnam Mandal, found A1 to A3 in possession and illegal transportation of 10 Kgs 800 Grams of Ganja in Suzuki Access 125 Scooty bearing registration No.AP 39 QR 5783.
