This Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is filed for the following relief:
“to issue a Writ Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Mandamus declaring the action of the 2nd Respondent in not registering the FIR basing on the Report, dt.02.02.2025 given by the Petitioner even though there is a cognizable offence made out, which is illegal, improper, arbitrary and violation of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to register FIR and conduct investigation basing on the Report of the Petitioner, dt.02.02.2025 and pass such...”
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw the present writ petition, on the ground that the cause in the writ petition becomes infructuous.
3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the State is in attendance.
4. Permission is accorded.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
As a sequel, interlocutory applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
