Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased topleased to issue an appropriate writ, order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus challenging the action of the respondents in not making necessary entries in Section 43 register of Act 30/87 of the 4th respondent temple i.e. Ac.20.00 cents of land situated at Sy. No.24/3B of RL Puram village, Chimakurthy Mandal, Prakasam District for recognition of the said land as specific endowment for performing Kalyanostavam every year during Mahasivaratri festival by the petitioners family by considering representation dated 20.02.2026 as bad illegal, arbitrary, violative of Articles 14, 21, 25 and 26 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to make necessary entries in Section 43 register of Act 30/87 of the 4th respondent temple i.e. Ac.20.00 cents of land situated at Sy. No.24/3B of RL Puram village, Chimakurthy Mandal, Prakasam District for recognition of the said land as specific endowment for performing Kalyanostavam every year during Mahasivaratri festival by considering representation dated 20.02.2026 and pass

Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased may be pleased to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 20.02.2026 and pass

The Court made the following:

ORDER:

1. This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of the India seeking the following reliefs:-

“to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus challenging the action of the respondents in not making necessary entries in Section 43 register of Act 30/87 of the 4th respondent temple i.e. Ac.20.00 cents of land situated at Sy.No.24/3B of RL Puram village, Chimakurthy Mandal, Prakasam District for recognition of the said land as specific endowment for performing ‘Kalyanostavam’ every year during ‘Mahasivaratri festival’ by the petitioners family by considering representation dated 20.02.2026 as bad illegal, arbitrary, violative of Articles 14, 21, 25 and 26 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to make necessary entries in Section 43 register of Act 30/87 of the 4th respondent temple i.e. Ac.20.00 cents of land situated at Sy.No.24/3B of RL Puram village, Chimakurthy Mandal, Prakasam Districtfor recognition of the said land as specific endowment for performing ‘Kalyanostavam’ every year during ‘Mahasivaratri festival’ by considering representation dated 20.02.2026 and pass such other order.”

2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner submitted a representation dated 20.02.2026 for recognition of specific endowments land i.e., Ac.20.00 cents given by the ancestors of the petitioner for performance of Kalyanostavam every year during ‘Mahasivaratri festival’. But, the respondents neither considered the representation of the petitioner and recognized the subject land as endowments land nor made any entries in the 43 register maintained under the Endowments Act, 1987 (Act No.30 of 1987). Hence, the writ petition.
