Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased toto issue a writ order or direction more particularly, one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 2nd respondent in issuing the proceedings in Rc.No.A1/ 1965/2017, dated 09.11.2018 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of principles of natural justice and violative of Articles 14, 21, 25 86 26 of Constitution of India and consequently set-aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents not to interfere with the archakatvam services of the petitioner and pass

Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to continue the petitioner in archakatvam services by suspending the impugned proceedings in Rc.No.A1/1965/2017, dated 09.11.2018 issued by the 2nd respondent, pending disposal of the above writ petition and pass

The Court made the following:

ORDER:

1. The present writ petition is filed aggrieved by the proceedings in Rc.No.A1/1965/2017, dated 09.11.2018 issued by the 2nd respondent, wherein, the petitioner and the unofficial respondent i.e., the 4th respondent herein were directed to work as Archakas on rotation basis, for equal period and for same remuneration.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned Government Pleader for Endowments representing respondent Nos.1 and 2 has furnished a copy of the letter dated 29.04.2026 vide Rc.No.A1/1965/2017, wherein, it is stated that the 4th respondent passed away and hence, the cause of action on him abates upon his death. It is further stated that the petitioner is working as Archaka in Nagarapamma Temple, Suryapalem Village, on full time basis and without having any need of working on rotation basis. It is further submitted that there is no interference from any official of endowments department nor there is any other official obstructing his duties as Archaka.

3. The said instructions would disclose that the petitioner is working as a full time Archaka in the Nagarapamma Temple and further there is no interference from any of the official of the endowments department.

4. In view of the above instructions, this Court is of the opinion that no further cause survives in this writ petition.

5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
