WRIT PETITION NO: 24870/2025

A writ petition may be closed by the court when the petitioner's counsel submits that no further orders are required to be passed in the matter.

Headnote:The petitioner approached the court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus to declare the action of the first respondent as arbitrary and illegal for not notifying the tuition fees for MCA, BBA, and BCA courses as recommended by the second respondent. The petitioner contended that this failure disabled the institution from participating in admissions counselling, violating Articles 14 and 19(1)(g) of the Constitution of India. The primary issue was whether the court should direct the respondents to determine and notify the fee structure for the petitioner institution. However, the court did not examine the merits of the case as the petitioner's counsel submitted that no further orders were required. Therefore, the Writ Petition is closed.
