25.07.2024 FPA-PMLA-5387/CHD/2023 The appeal under Section 26 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002 (in short `the Act of 2002’) has been filed to challenge the order dated 18.08.2022 passed by the Adjudicating Authority confirming the Provisional Attachment Order.

2. It is a case where after recording of ECIR 5/17, Provisional Attachment Order was passed on 12.11.2021 when a land property of the appellant was provisionally attached treating it to be ‘proceeds of crime’ to the tune of Rs.78,96,700/-. A challenge to the Provisional Attachment Order and its confirmation has been made by the appellant mainly on legal grounds but a reference of the facts has also been given to show that appellant is not involved in the crime thus,not named even as an accused yet hi
