1. Applicant apprehends arrest in connection with Crime No. 0454/2023 and 0455/2023 registered with CIDCO Police Station, Aurangabad, District Aurangabad for the offences punishable under Section s 406 , 409, 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 217, 120-B read with Section 3 4 of Indian Penal Code and Section 3 of Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act.
2. Applicant is the District Deputy Registrar of co-operative societies and at the relevant time was posted at Aurangabad. First Information Reports came to be lodged by the Special Auditors in respect of Adarsh Nagari Sahakari Pat Sanstha alleging mis- appropriation of deposits of thousands of depositors.
