Sessions Judge/Special Judge, Majalgaon in Sessions Case No.47 of 2013, vide judgment and order dated 10^th April, 2014, for the offences punishable under Section 376 read with 511 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 and 8 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (for short, “POCSO Act”) and sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for seven years on account of offence punishable under Section 376 read with 511 of Indian Penal Code and Section 4 of POCSO Act; and for three years on account of offence punishable under Section 8 of POCSO Act, with a direction to pay fine, has preferred present appeal.
