COMMON JUDGMENT

1. By these appeals, appellants (the accused persons) have challenged judgment and order dated 30.1.2023 passed by learned Extra Joint District Judge and Additional Sessions Judge, Special Court No.2 (POCSO), Nagpur (learned Judge of the trial court) in Special POCSO Case No.8/2021.

2. By the said judgment impugned in appeals, the accused persons were convicted for offence under Section 363 read with 34 of the IPC and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 5 years and to pay fine Rs.500/-, in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for 1 month.

The accused persons were also convicted for offence under Section 376(2)(i) read with 34 of the IPC and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and to pay fine Rs.1000/-, in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for 3 months.

The accused persons were also convicted for offence under Section 376(2)(j) read with 34 of the IPC and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for 10 years and to pay fine Rs.1000/-, in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for 3 months.
