1 Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2 By these applications, the applicants seek suspension of their sentences and enlargement on bail, pending the hearing and final disposal of their aforesaid appeals.

3 The applicant in Interim Application No. 3110 of 2024 is original accused No.10; the applicant in Interim Application No. 3111 of 2024 is original accused No. 5; and, the applicants in Interim Application No. 3501 of 2024 are original accused Nos. 2 and 3 respectively.

4 The aforesaid applicants along with other co-accused have been convicted by the learned Special Judge, MCOC Act, Pune, by judgment and order dated 16th July, 2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 302 , 352, 143, 147, 148, 149 of the Indian Penal Code ; Section 4(25) of the Indian Arms Act ; Section 37(1) r/w Section 135 of the Maharashtra Police Act ; and Section 3(1)(i), 3(1) (ii), 3(4) of the Maharashtra Control of Organized Crime Act . For the offence punishable under Section 302 and one of the Sections of the MCOCA, the applicants have been sentenced to suffer rigorous imprisonment for life.
