1. Rule. Rule is made returnable forthwith.

2. Heard finally with the consent of learned counsel appearing for the parties.

3. The parties are at ad idem that vide order dated 8.2.2017 in Writ Petition No.1404/2007, while disposing of the Writ Petition, co-ordinate Bench of this Court directed the concerned petitioner herein to make a representation to the State Government and directed the State Government to decide said representation within six months from the date of receipt thereof. It seems that the representation was accordingly made on 5.6.2017. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that at present his grievance would be ventilated if the representation is directed to be decided on merits and within a particular time-frame.

4. We, therefore, dispose of the petition with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation dated 5.6.2017 positively within a period of four weeks from the date of this order. 5. Learned A.G.P. is directed to communicate the order to the concerned respondent forthwith to act in accordance with law since the earlier order of this Court dated 8.2.2017 which direct the authority to decide the representation within six months has prima facie not being complied with.

6. The petitioner is at liberty to submit such additional documents in his opinion would be helpful in pursuance to his cause. All contentions of the parties are kept open.

7. Rule is made absolute in the above terms.
