Having considered that the police authorities would only act pursuant to the directions passed by a court of law or the appropriate authorities under the West Bengal Land Reforms Act, 1950, I am of the view that the police authorities, in this case, would only restrict themselves to the extent that there should not be any violation of any law and order.

However, if any representation(s) is filed either at the behest of the petitioner or the private respondents, the police authorities would ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tran
