Succinctly stated, the essential facts leading to the institution of the present writ petition are that the District Level Selection and Managing Committee, in pursuance of a Memorandum dated 16th March, 2023, issued by the Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, initiated a recruitment process for filling up 150 posts of Anganwadi Workers (hereinafter referred to as ’AWW’).
