Petitioner is aggrieved by the excesses of the police authorities and to that effect, information was furnished to the Officer-in-Charge, Cyber Cell South Suburban Division and the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Cyber Cell South Suburban Division. Petitioner advances his reasons and arguments for defreezing bank account of HDFC Bank Limited. Petitioner claims that there has been a business transaction pursuant to which amounts were being received, but somehow or the other, said money has been frozen by the police authorities and there is no information to the petitioner on what count the said account has been frozen.
State has submitted a report which reflects that Kasba P.S. Case No. 352 dated 07.09.2024 was registered for investigation. The subject-matter of the case related to digital arrest and since the money trail was found in respect of a disputed amount which has been transferred into the HDFC Bank Account bearing No.01642320005527, steps were taken by the police authorities.
