Headnote:In this case, the applicant sought rectification of a prior order dated 22.05.2025, citing typographical errors. The court found consensus among the parties regarding necessary amendments, including changes to the names of advocates and specific phrasing, while maintaining the integrity of the original order. The court thus allowed the application, modifying the earlier order accordingly.

This is an application filed by the applicant/

petitioner with the following prayer :

“In the circumstances stated herein above, the petitioner/Applicant most humbly prays to your Lordships to pass an appropriate order/s rectifying and/or recalling and/or cancelling the order dated 22.05.2025 passed in WPA 9897 of 2025.”

Learned Advocates representing the parties today before this Court by consent and jointly submit that, there has been a typographical error in the order dated May 22, 2025 and the same may be corrected and modified accordingly.

In view of the above the following corrections are made :

a) in the appearance part and wherever it appears in the order dated May 22, 2025 the names of the learned Advocates showing to have appeared for the petitioner stand deleted altogether and in place thereof the names of Mr. Manas Kr. Ghosh, learned Advocate and Ms. Susmita Dey (Basu), learned Advocate shall be incorporated;

b) in the fourth line of the fifth paragraph on the first page of the order dated May 22, 2025 the expression “Contributory Provident Fund” shall be replaced by “Leave Salary” and the expression “Contributory Provident Fund” stands deleted ;

and c) the entire second paragraph from pages 2 and 3 of the order dated May 22, 2025 starts with “In addition to the above …………” stands deleted.

Rest of the order dated May 22, 2025 remains unaltered and without any modification.

This order is being passed by consent of the parties. Office is directed to incorporate necessary corrections as directed above.
